SEQEMSS

(The South East Queensland Environmental Management Support System)

Overview

The SEQEMSS is basically a large, integrated spatial catchment and stream water quality model with a good user interface. It is being developed and applied in South East Queensland (see photos).

The SEQEMSSis being developed within the Tarsier modelling framework, and integrates models of catchment hydrology and water quality (Colobus), stream routing and water quality (Marmoset), and water supply reservoir processes and operations (Mandrill).

Team

  • Dr Rob Vertessy (project leader)
  • Dr Fred Watson (designer)
