Catalog Description: ESSP 305 - Inquiry-Based Life Science for Teachers - 3 credits Focuses on the methodology of science appropriate to K-8 education. Students completing this lecture, computer lab, and wet laboratory course will be able to teach and prepare lesson plans based on the California Life Science Content Standards for Kindergarten through Fifth grade and portions of the standards for Sixth through Eighth grades. Prerequisite(s): CST 101; concurrent enrollment in MATH 100 or MATH 130, or equivalent. Corequisite(s): ESSP 305L - 1 credit.
