Course Description:
Bio 310 - Biochemistry - 3 credits
Introduces the study of biomolecular structure, molecular processes with cells, and molecular interactions between organisms and their environment. Topics include protein structure and function, enzyme catalysis, membrane transport, aerobic and anaerobic catabolism, photosynthesis, carbohydrate, lipid, & nitrogen metabolism, biotransformation, and oxygen chemistry. Offered each Spring semester.
