If you are using Internet Explorer, you will need to get the Chime plugin from MDL.  It is free, but the company requires that you register first.

They will then send you an email with the password, so don't give them a bogus email address when you register.

I have never received spam from this company.  I believe they use the registration system to document how many users they are helping.

After you receive your password by email, login and download MDL Chime for Windows or Macintosh.

Save the installer program in a place you can find it!

Then go to the help page set up by Professor Martz to finish installing chime to work with Protein Explorer.

BEGIN WITH STEP #11.
